Isabella Golden Beach...

Finally I sit at my desk for the past 8 hours catching up on session edits, without getting distracted by the phone or the internet. (well maybe a little). I stopped to think about why I am so lucky…. I love my what I do. I truly am inspired by each an every child that stands before my camera. I relearn things that I had long forgotten all the time. It’s really nice even if I only see them once a year watch these little people grow up. This is the first time I’ve photographed “Isabella”, she def. gave me a run for my money, like speedy gonzalez……. I am happy that we finally did this session…….it was long overdue. Can you believe in 2 months I will have photographed 10 sets of twins….of all ages….. Wow.

So we played dress up….Ziah showed her how to pose….and we finished the session just before it started to down pour.

Back in MIA…...

Sorry I haven’t been blogging, it is just so much work moving everything back in…..why doesn’t it all fit. Getting back on a schedule…. All those great ideas and changes I want to make……harder than I thought. It has been a bit overwhelming…. Coming home after traveling for  6 months is  a mixed-feelings experience. On one side I am  happy to be home, and the other I don’t feel like it was long enough. It is nice having a real house instead of 1 small basic hostel/guesthouseroom, a washing-machine instead of a bucket and cold water, being able to cook for myself, Ziah being in camp most of the day. BUT…after a week or two all those nice things fade, and the memories of the trip come into my head like slide-show and make me feel not home-sick (I never am) but “travel-sick”: wanna go away!!!   Being home also brings back a more complex life, more appointments, people to see, obligations, changes i want to implement for personal...
